About Us

Our mission:

To empower grade school children, particularly around 10-12 years of age, by promoting a positive self-image and higher-education aspirations.

Founded in 2019, More Than You Think is dedicated to promoting mental health and wellness among K-12 students. Through engaging programs, educational resources, and community partnerships, we strive to empower students with strategies, support, and opportunities to thrive academically and emotionally. We envision a future where every student has access to comprehensive mental health resources, enabling them to realize their full potential and lead healthy, fulfilling lives.

Tori Callier - President

"For me, MTYT is a program of personal growth. The tools and exercises we provide are meant to foster long-term changes in mindset that will allow students to reach their full potential and avoid self-doubt."

Tori Amen is a native of Las Vegas, Nevada, and is currently attending William Boyd School of Law as a law student. She has been very involved in the community since a young age, most recently through pageantry, where she uses her titles to promote community service and the values of MTYT. She has reigned as Miss Teen of Texas 2020 and Mrs. Nevada 2023 and hopes to continue inspiring students through her own story of overcoming negative self-images. Tori also enjoys hiking, crafting, and reading a good book.

Aaron Ford - Treasurer

"More Than You Think unites our future leaders with themselves. By arming them with healthy habits today, MTYT assists them in becoming their best selves and promoting the common good in the future. Nothing is more fulfilling to me than working toward that end with academic institutions, community partners, my colleagues, and the young people we serve."

Aaron Ford is a dynamic entrepreneur, community leader, and political strategist. Patrick Isaac - Secretary

"My aim with MTYT is that young children feel empowered and uplifted at the idea of themselves. I want young children to be bold and secure with their identity - and every part of it - so that they can enjoy their lives more fully. What I like about MTYT is that it challenges young students to see themselves in a positive way and it leaves them with their own written responses to reflect on."

Patrick Isaac currently studies medicine in San Antonio. He graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor of science in biological sciences and a minor in English from Southern Methodist University in 2023. Patrick held multiple leadership, volunteer, and research positions at UT Southwestern and SMU between 2020-2023. Patrick enjoys playing his banjo, watching the Dallas Stars, and spending time outdoors.
